pounzer
Hi folks! I'm looking for a plug-in or small program that can convert any sort of picture or graphic into a new b/w graphic, which consists of dots of a different size to keep the different shadings. Do you know what I mean? I think, I remember a page on the internet, where you could do somehting like that online. But I can't find it anymore. Is there any plug-in for Paint.net or something similar? Thank you! Quote visit deviantART MySpace

david.atwell
You're looking for screentoning, I think. To my knowledge, no one has come up with anything yet, but I agree that it would be awesome. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

silverhammer
I believe that you are thinking of rasterization. The most popular program for that is The Rasterbator though I'm not sure if it has any other output other than PDF. I don't know of any Paint.NET plugins that accomplish the effect. pounzer
Thank you so much! The "Rasterbator" (who is responsible for that name???) is exactly the program I was looking for. But also thank you for the tutorials! They're very helpful, too! You rock! Quote visit deviantART MySpace
