Marje
My client has an art gallery web site and would like to resize multiple images of artwork. Is there a functionality in Paint.NET that will resize multiple images at the same time? Quote Marje
ciberman_11
No, there is not such functionality in Paint.NET, at least that I'm aware of . Why not try the tons of free options in the internet? I could recommend you FastStone Photo Resizer. It's freeware, simple to use, has a good set of options, it's elegant and it's fast. Good luck! :o
david.atwell
It's not there yet. There are a few people working on some things that might make it into v4.x or beyond, or a plugin; but nothing native as of yet. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Marje
When we get batch processing, it will double the value of the program. Quote Marje
silverhammer
Personally, I place batch processing at the bottom of the list of features I would like to see implemented. I have multiple image editing programs and it can sometimes be a good thing to have functionality split between them. I'm not going to use Paint.NET to view slideshows, rotate by 90 degrees, or batch process images. I use Irfanview for that kind of stuff because it's made for that purpose. Paint.NET I feel is more for image creation or image editing rather than batch work or little tweaks. Marje
We are a web development company and train our clients to add text and image content to their sites. We have been recommending Paint.NET to our clients for years and have created simple instructions so they can pick is up quickly. Batch processing is the only functionality that has been lacking. To make it easy for our clients, we would rather not have to introduce another program just for that purpose. Quote Marje
david.atwell
Don't get us wrong. In one form or another, it is extremely likely that we will see batch processing functionality very soon.
