If you want to use your images in other programs, you have to save in a different format, like PNG or JPG. It's exclusively for Paint.NET.If you want to use your images in other programs, you have to save in a different format, like PNG or JPG. In other words, if you save your image as is, it will save under the "PDN" format which is only recognizable to Paint.net.
