Hello I am trying to use pdn images in other microsoft programs such as : power point, word, and front page. I get a message that indicates that the image is not a supported file type. Can anyone help ?

PDN is Paint.NET's own native image format. It's exclusively for Paint.NET.

If you want to use your images in other programs, you have to save in a different format, like PNG or JPG.

In other words, if you save your image as is, it will save under the "PDN" format which is only recognizable to Paint.net. Where it says "Save as type:" when you're saving it change it to something else such as GIF, JPEG etc.
