Gradient keeps crashing me

Whenever I use effects-render-gradient it always say paint.net has an error and I have to restart it.

 

 

It keeps happening here is the report.

It looks like you're running the latest version of the effect...

What version of paint.net are you using?

I suspect you are using an older version of paint.net, like 3.5.11. Please upgrade your paint.net to version 4.0.6 and try again.
