  • [*:bed9b]Multi Document Interface (Tabs)
    [*:bed9b]Pen Tablets Support
    [*:bed9b]CHM Help File
We used a CHM before but it was a real burden for us to maintain, and it also was no easy task to localize (translate) it for other languages.
[*:bed9b]Docking Toolbars
My ultimate preference for the UI -- at least for the color picker -- would be to have it work like the Dock in Mac OS X.
[*:bed9b]Text re-editing
[*:bed9b]Possibility to add nubs to a Line/Curve
[*:bed9b]Noise Removal effect
[*:bed9b]Different line endings (arrows, round ends)
[*:bed9b]Flipping selections
This feature is not in v2.6. Doesn't mean it won't be in a future release.

[*:bed9b]Screen capture

[*:bed9b]CMYK support (Cyan Magenta Yellow Black) & Pica support
CMYK won't be implemented. It would require a rewrite of, well, everything. Pica won't be implemented. We are adding inches and centimeters, however, and you can set the DPI of an image such that 1 pixel = 1 pica.
[*:bed9b]Blur Brush

[*:bed9b]Magnetic Lasso
[*:bed9b]8-bit bitmap
[*:bed9b]Triangles/polygon/polyline tool
http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=905
[*:bed9b]Layer Folders & Merge Layers
You're hitting on some common criticisms and feature requests here. There are quite a few things I want to do with Paint.NET, they just take time.
[*:bed9b]Vector Graphics
[*:bed9b]Moving Toolbars
[*:bed9b]Zoom Blur
[*:bed9b]Bending(curving) Text/Images
[*:bed9b]Save copy as... http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1194
& a lot in this topic

I've made an inquiry about bending text/images here... http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1006. Although SI helped me with the perspective aspect, I still would like to bend and morph images and text. This topic has been discussed in this forum before and I havn't found a way to do it as of yet. I'm not sure if this feature has been requested before or not. Either way, I am throwing it into the hat.....Request Submitted. :)

Add more nubs to the line/curve tool. The longer the line...the more nubs.

Or the ability to choose how many "nubs" or handles you want, with an "Automatic" option that would choose this by length, like you suggested, BuzzKill. Having it always choose by length would be troublesome when working at different resolutions.

It'd be nice to see nub control refined. I always have trouble grabbing the nub I want, especially with smaller lines when I'm zoomed in.

Some sort of a word-wrapping tool would be nice, too.

Feathering or soft edges, whatever you want to call it.

Anyway, something like a feather effect would be much appreciated. I haven't yet found a good and effective workaround.

- Pattern Fill [select an image, define a pattern, select an area, fill with image pattern]

- layer merge [not all the layer in one, but also one layer with previous layer and similar]

Photoshop most certainly does have this. It's called the Navigator, iirc.

Layers -> Rotate/Zoom

Don't freak out too much when it tilts on the X axis.

(and yes of course you can do traditional rotation about the Z axis just fine, like what you're looking for)
