k.digennaro
My band and I want to get a site going for our band. We don't want to pay a fortune, but we want something with its own domain. I was looking at Godady.com, i was wondering if any one had and suggestions on a good economical web hosting site that allows your own domain. Thanks Kevin Quote Support Our Troops, End The War

Simon Brown
that allows your own domain. You could just get one that doesn't and then buy a domain from 1&1.

Yes - although there would be ads and I have just noticed that you can get a hosting deal from 1&1 now for only £4 more per-year.

Simon Brown
One important thing: Post wherever you can (and embed it there - not just a link). Youtube, myspace, bebo, facebook, wherever you can build a community. Have forums, coatrooms, desktop backgrounds - do anything you can to promote your band and build a fanbase.
