YIG
Can anyone give me some advice on how to make the dog red eyes better. I've tried the red eye removal tool, and even tried making some black circles with various blurs, but have been unsuccessful so far. Any help would be appreciated. I've posted a copy of the photo I'm trying to get rid of the glowing eyes on just so you have a visual of what I mean.
Mike Ryan
hmm... that is a very tough question on how to resolve that. Let me work on it for about a minute and see what I can get done.
tajson
Here is my suggestion. first I gave the picture a better tone (removed some of the bluish). Then I used Hue/Saturation but only removed som Lightness. Tajson
barkbark00
The original picture seemed to have a fine tone. You may want to check your monitors color configuration. The image you posted almost looks sepia. Quote Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster
YIG
Yeah, that's not quite what I'm looking for. I don't want to change the photo much, because I do like the color and quality, I just don't want bright yellow glowing dog eyes.
tajson
Maybe the color was to yellow, and color is something different for each person. The answer to the challenge is still the same. You have to select the pupils and change the lightness in Adjustments -> Hue / Saturation. and here is the History for what I have done.
