Rankhilfe
Hello, has anoybody an idea how I can modify a wood pattern layout (*.jpg) like the attached one in a way that all white pixels get completely transparent, that all black pixels stay black and that all grey level pixels get a scaled level of transparency ? The idea is to combine different wood patterns on individual layers on on top of each other and then, by colouring complete layers and adding a base colour layer, creating individual wood styles ? Sample: Base layer with a light beige, 'wood 1' with light red-brown, 'wood 2' with a dark brown, nearly black. Should crate a very intense beech pattern. Thanks for your ideas. Curmudgeon
This plugin should help. http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=22215 and best to save in a lossless type of image (.png, .bmp) at least until the end.
