Im enjoying your art . keep up the good work pixel world is going to have a few updates coming and we need your help to make them possible!: topezia has pointed out that every pixel town needs a name, any suggestions for names for our town? our pixel community is growing, every day we have more and more pixel characters, but where should they all go? i could simply add them to the town. or maybe someone has a creative suggestions? *pixel world is always growing, feel free to pm me suggestions, or to post them in this thread!! ( nearly choking :oops: choke choke...she was having her breakfast with mini croissant and cappuccino while reading that.... ) Do u suggest I am cheating? - I mean I did my first tries like that cause I did not know how to pixelate and I told you that! But I am learning now! - I did it pixel by pixel using the pencil tool! (and colored the dress with the line tool) (used a zoom of 600 cause as told u I got the sight of a mole ) so that's why it looks bigger and i had to resize it ! If you zoom on it u can see it is pixelated! (I mean in the quick look I gave to manuals on how to do pixel art things they do not mention a fixed zoom ratio to use, I did try the maximum zoom too, but I was not able to see any details when I brought it back to the actual size!) Ciao ciao (a semi-offended and half-choked Topezia) :wink: im sorry topezia, i wasnt suggesting you of cheating, wat i ment was when i look at the lines on your pixel people they look a little jagged, it looks almost like you use the pencil tool and just drag, thats still pixel art, but if you just use the pencil tool and build your line pixel by pixel the line will look much crisper, zooming in all the way helps to make this easier Quote Support Our Troops, End The War Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think this should go straight into the major square of Paintnetsville, Paintdotsville or whatever...(lol) @Di Gennaro: No I did not drag lines, what you see jagged is probably due to the fact that after finishing the pixelling I always resized (made them bigger) my images cause I thought they were loosing details, anyway I did not resize this, hope you like it! I noticed your said your zoom in to 800%, this is really all preference, but when im drawing i zoom in 3200%. This doesnt really matter, wat feels right, is right. so if you like 800 stick with it, but dont be afraid to try 3200, or even 400. Thanks, I copied and pasted the square and added a garden with some flowers and a gate I hope it fits o.k.(I also would have liked to add some spikes or sort of brass balls to the top of each gate bar but actually they looked awful - I still have to improve my "pixie" skills - ) Ciao! In order for it to be real pixel art, kinda go look at the first page guys. The pixel people dont have any curved lines. There kinda sharp, and go by a specific pattern.
