manus Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I am primarily looking for a facility to draw callouts Paint.Net. This is required to draw comic strips to write text spoken by characters. It would be great if someone directs me to a plug-in which draws Autoshapes like in MS Powerpoint. Best Regards Manus Quote
toe_head2001 Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Are you referring to these things? Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
manus Posted February 5, 2008 Author Posted February 5, 2008 Yes this is what I mean by callouts. I would ideally like the flexibility of changing the length of the pointer in the callouts object. Quote
Screenfrog Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Hi, I would use inkscape to create the callouts. You can also open up your bitmap images in inkscape and than add the callouts where you need them. Than export your graphic as bitmap. Quote http://www.screenfrog.com Free Online Video Tutorials
cjmcguinness Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 A simple option would be to use a text font for the callout's - such as Talk, from dafont.com. You can download and install the font, then when you open up PDN use the TEXT tool to place the desired callout where you want it - you can then create another layer and change to a different font to type the speech you want over it.
