bsasninja
When I write some text in Paint.net then I would like to edit it, such as remove some words but I cant. Everytime I put the cursor over the text and click on it, it opens to write other text box over the other text. In photoshop for example when you have a text and you click on it, you can rewrite it or erase words. Is this feature available in Paint.net ? If it´s, where is it? Thank you!
oma
sorry its not a feature of paint.net try writing the words on separate layers that way you can just delete out the layer and redo. or do your text in something like word and copy it into a layer of paint.net Quote My Deviant Art Gallery Oma's Paint.Net gallery
Leif
Paint.NET is a bitmap editor. This means your text is stored as a bitmap image. You can’t edit it like a text editor. Only as a picture or drawing. My advice is, as Oma said; put your text in a deferent layer. Then you can edit that layer without disturbing your background. david.atwell
This ability is planned for Paint.NET 4.0. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... Rick Brewster
This ability is planned for Paint.NET 4.0. Correction: Implementing this feature will not be done until at least Paint.NET 4.0. It is dependent on the rendering and data layer changes I plan on making. That doesn't mean it will necessarily be in 4.0 proper.
