Photoshop Brushes

I think this is in the right section, since it's not really related to Paint.NET. I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Have you people ever stared at a beautiful pack of PS brushes (that don't come with .PNGs), hoping that some way, some how, you could figure out a way to use them?

Well you can stop drooling at the burshes, because I have found something on the web. I had been looking around for brush packs that came with .PNGs, and I happened to stumble upon this:

A .abr extractor. You can put a PS brush file (.abr) into the program, and it extracts the brushes within for you!

The link for the website is here.

*I take no credit for the abrViewer, it was not created by me.

Call me expired. Please.

Umm...Paint.NET still can't use brushes. Not until 4.0.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Hmm. Well...if you Photo Flood Fill a layer and then clone stamp from that layer to the other, it would be kind of similar, but it still wouldn't be a true custom brush system.

so this is kinda wat im saying, basically copy and paste an image of a brush to create something like this^^^

you could then use this as a template to use on your images.

my questions is there a good way to recolor something like this?

and can this program export the files either to a folder, or directly to PDN?

edit:maybe these are dumb questions this just kinda popped in my head so i thought id ask
