not_spartacus
Hi, I'm new here (so be nice )...astonishingly good bit of software! Anyway, the only thing I can't figure out is how I can take one image and tile it (ie repeat it in a regular pattern). All help would be appreciated, I'm sure it's really simple and I'm just missing it. thanks, Martin

Wither
Rotate/Zoom (Keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Z) can do it very easily by checking the 'Tiling' box and setting the Zoom level to anything below 1.00. http://www.searchpaint.net with the term 'tiling' (In addition to it being nearly second nature to me. ) Edit: Bugster beat me. oma
layers rotate zoom works but your end up with perspective image goes from smaller to larger. depends on final image you want. you could use different plugins seamless texture maker or multi view wrap. if you have a set size image you just want to repeat over and over at the same size try the plug in photo flood fill. . That would be up to you, many effects can do similar things. (ie. Wobble & Sine wave are quite close and so on) And different methods can get you the same result. Personally I would keep as much effects as possible. Quote All creations Ash + Paint.NET [ Googlepage | deviantArt | Club PDN | PDN Fan ]
