JS92 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 What do all think about having like a "WordArt" feature like in most Microsoft Office programs...like to choose from these... So it would be easier to make text 3D and look better! EDIT by david.atwell: No polls outside of the Overflow. Please brush up on the rules. Thanks! david.atwell 286 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 This has been discussed several times, though I can't find it in search. I would find this interesting, but I'd prefer to have that ability for all selections, not just for text.

Andrew D 1 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 Why would you want WordArt? it makes the best images in the world look extremely bad. Say you put some yellowish-bold Arial Black on the Mona Lisa, it would have been burnt the second someone saw it. I disagree. I get sick of seeing posters using Word"Art" enough. BoltBait 2,597 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 Hey, I have an idea... Why not just use Word, then copy the final graphic and paste it into Paint.NET?

usedHONDA 4 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 OR you can make the image, paste it into Word, and play with the word art there.
DarkShock 49 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 I'd like to see a further test editor, but not like the one in your example. (like giving your text a certain color border with a certain width and such)

I know about that and I've used it, but would it be nice to have a faster more efficient was to give your text a custom border?
david.atwell 286 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 Sure, but I can't see that happening. :-)
usedHONDA 4 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 We'll have to wait for layer blending (and hopefully layer blending-based plugins) for that one.
