You DO have different tools..

For creating letters/Images/ whatever you want..

If you cant see it..

On the "File" Bar at the top select "Tools" then open the SubMenu for "Item"

NOW!

After you create you leter or whatever it is you created..

How to Save it and Bring it up..

1. Instead of going to "File" and saving it..

You go to "Edit" And "Save Character"

In order to Access Charater Map go to

Star>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map

Once It opens, Click the Menu to Change Fonts, and Above "Arial" You will see "All Fonts (Private Characters)"

Interesting. I never knew about that. >_>

It doesn't seem to work with Vista though. I've never felt so lonely! [cries]

Thanks for sharing! :P

Try Accessing it Manually

FILE LOCATION: C:\Windows\System32\eudcedit.exe

It will take a minute to find it with all the files there.. >_<

No need, just type 'eudcedit' into the Start menu, it will find it much faster than scrolling through an ocean of files.

Perhaps david will find this useful for his new font-authoring undertake...

Ive been wondering how to make fonts, thanks. I dont think this belongs here though.

This isn't how to make normal (smooth) fonts, but pixel-based fonts (like what you see in the command line). There are many programs out there that can help you make vector-based fonts (like Calibri in ClearType mode), some of them being free to the public. I've made a font myself in the past, and it's very tough work! You end up spending 30+ minutes on one character, when you have to make at least 50. I'll never do that again.

I'd do it if I could find a free program to do so in.

As would I...

It's still neat to know about this program, though. Thanks for pointing it out!

Neh. It's pixel font. I want to make TrueType vector fonts.

There are many free programs to edit fonts in, but they're hard to find. Check SourceForge, there should be at least 3.
