barkbark00
Create-An-Award 2007! In the spirit of BoltBait's highly esteemed 2007 Forum Awards, I've decided to create my own award system. The idea is to have members awarding members based on their own unique perspective. The awards you give are completely up to you! Be creative. Be funny. Be vindictive. Just remember to have fun! Rules: [*:3t61ke9p]The users listed in this post represent the official list.[*:3t61ke9p]Up to five(5) "Write-in" members/awards can be added.[*:3t61ke9p]"Write-in" awards reserved for members not on official list.[*:3t61ke9p]You can award yourself.[*:3t61ke9p]Award at least one(1) member besides yourself.[*:3t61ke9p]Award each member only once.[*:3t61ke9p]All awards will consist of the following; a Title (required), and a Description (optional).[*:3t61ke9p]The five(5) most interesting awards (as determined by me) for each member will be chosen at the end of the voting period. The anonymity of the voters will be preserved; unless otherwise specified by voter.[*:3t61ke9p]Voting closes at Midnight PDT, on Friday, January 11th, 2008.[*:3t61ke9p]Be courteous and kind (semi-optional).[*:3t61ke9p]Again, have fun! How to vote: PM all votes to me. Please make sure that “Create-An-Award 2007!” or something like that is in the subject. Please attempt to vote for all listed members. If you are not familiar with a particular user, just click on their name to see their posts on this forum. Andrew D
So, basically you create an award, and then you say who would win that award in your opinion?
barkbark00
Yes, but it's kinda in reverse. You create an award for each user... Examples: Rick Brewster: Most likely to stub his toe while walking backwards down 7 flights of stairs... OR... Bob: The Golden Sponge. Awarded to the most absorbent of us all... david.atwell
How are you going to tally these? Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
barkbark00
The point is to make your awards as interesting or thought provoking as possible, so they get chosen(see rules). I may change the way that works depending on how many responses we get.
