Zwicky
Saw Sherlock Holmes while I was away, and it was very clever I wasn't entirely sure what I was getting myself into when all the supernatural voodoo magic started up, but it concluded brilliantly. Lots of laughs also, as Robert Downey Jr. plays the eccentric quite well.

I saw it about 2 weeks ago, very good movie, it gives you a a confusing situation and leaves you hanging and then it pulls you back in with somthing un expected. Ego Eram Reputo
Watching District 9 "Extra Features" last night I listened to Peter Jackson talking about the production. Anyone seen his first film "Bad Taste?" AWESOME! BoltBait
I would have scored Avatar higher except I really hate one of the cliché’s in the film: "You lied to me!" That one has been done to death. BTW, I just found the script of Avatar on the web http://twitpic.com/wt1lk/full Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
BoltBait
I finally watched Fargo. Great movie. I loved the off-beat pacing of the movie. I really like William H. Macy. He plays a great loser, and he did a wonderful job in this movie. However, I don't think it was quite as extreme as the roll he played in Edmond. He want down hill REALLY fast in that movie. 8.5/10 Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
ImAnOwl?
I think avatar( 3D ) is one of the worst movies i've ever seen. The history is like the disney movie "Pokahontas". the 3D effect was nice. but if you sit down in like 2+ hours its starting to hurt your nose... james c. wasted 12 (??) years of his life on this movie... (yes yes it made a lot of money, but its not a movie to remember when the great 3D movies are comming out )
LFC4EVER
The Hurt Locker is a great film, imo. Definitely deserved more Oscars than Avatar. Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆  .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::.
Lance McKnight
Anybody seen "Law Abiding Citizen?" One of the best films I have seen in a while. Love how the guy punished those he felt wronged him, except outsmarted in the end by the very DA that tried the men in the first place. Brilliant use of the cell phone to take out the judge in the movie, never saw that one coming. Quote Officially retired from this forum. Have a nice day. DarkShock
The trailer for The Last Airbender actually looked pretty epic (I'm guessing because of the director they picked, don't remember his name). BoltBait
I saw How to Train Your Dragon last night. Really cute movie. I'll be getting that one for the kids when it comes out on DVD. Is it just me or does everyone think it is crazy to pay $17 per person to see a movie? OK, sure, it was 3D LieMax, but still... $17?!!! I don't get why the tickets should ever be that high, especially since you could buy the movie when it releases for that same price... pyrochild
if you can't afford 20$ for a movie, then theres something wrong with your budget... ... If you think sitting in uncomfortable chairs on a sticky floor surrounded by people and babies who won't shut up just to watch 45 minutes of previews followed by 90+ minutes of politically charged garbage *coughAvatarcough* is worth anywhere near $20, then there's something wrong with your brain. I'd much rather spend my hard-earned money on snowboarding. Unfortunately, the slopes to which I had a season pass just closed. So time to find a new expensive hobby... Skydiving, perhaps? 1 Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!
Zwicky
I saw Iron Man 2 the other day. Good movie. However some parts were predictable which was unfortunate. But I still went away happy.
