Sozo
My fellow Americans, I'm pretty beefed about tonight's elections in Iowa, with Huckabee doin' well. Anybody else want to give their reactions? Or are ya'll just wondering why it's such a big dealio? Regardless, things are looking up for Huckabee (once the massive underdog), and this is also a big victory for Obama. Opinions? david.atwell
I didn't realize Huck had done well in Iowa! I'm quite excited about that...I must admit to being a bit clueless and wanting to ignore the whole process somewhat. I'm certainly jazzed that the underdog has struck a blow on both sides of the aisle. And I'm even more jazzed that Distillery Clinton is getting the cold shoulder by the good folks of Iowa! :-D Awesome stuff. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... Sozo
Yes indeed, Hitlery is tied for third with Edwars, Mr. Haircut himself. Just so everyone knows the results, as of now, I'll post them: Obama: 38% Edwards: 30% Hillary: 29% Huckabee: 34% Romney: 25% Thompson: 13% McCain: 13% Paul: 10% As of 11:00. david.atwell
Wow- as things go, that's quite an excessive lead for Our Favorite Arkansan! Same for Barack. Looks like the people who have been previously considered "unelectable" may have quite the turnaround in store! Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... Stephan
I usually don't care about this stuff, but I'll support everybody who DOESN'T vote for Hitlery... You know what she will do to our precious video games... I propose we kill her UT3 style, gliding after her limousine, then jumping off, fire the triple rocket to the side of the vehicle, and go up close with a flak cannon. No reduced gore. Seems Huckabee is the way to go here. Not some old, half-rotten body pulled from its grave for a change...
usedHONDA
Well, I support Huckabee, so I'll also add that link in my signature. About the Mike > hike thing... I thought of it while I was typing EDIT: Now my signature is getting big. I'll have to remove something... Simon Brown
Does anyone have any idea when this channel one news thing apparently in US schools will show the results of their mock United States presidential election? According to the wikipedia article their results are very accurate. It seems a good way to find out who will win.

Sozo
OBAMA is gonna win the primaries. And it looks as if Huckabee could win every single primary this weekend. Still won't get him up to McCain's level, though.
Mike Ryan
As long as McCain and Obama when primaries, I am a happy citizen. I am not antiwar, nor prowar and neither truly support the NHS so I really like them both.

Mike Ryan
lol, education. I want some changes in Medicade and Medicare. I also want more focus on local communtities.
startreksuite
lol, education. I want some changes in Medicade and Medicare. I also want more focus on local communtities. So I suppose the Huckabee supporters want to reverse Roe vs. Wade, or really don't think that is such a big deal. Family values need to be brought back, right? The church can be implemented into government, right? There is a reason for separation of church and state, and Families should be of all different types. I honestly don't think Huckabee would support Gay Marriage. I definitely don't want John "let's continue the war" McCain to continue Dubya's stupidity. I support Hillary because I felt her husband did a great job as president, and she would continue this. All of what Mike.Ryan52 supports would happen if she got in. I think Obama would do a good job as well. I fear another Republican in office because so many are conservative, and really don't care about the people, just about big business, and Oil  or about pushing their own values on others. Mike Ryan
Unfortunately I think our economy is coming to a collapse. I think it is only a matter of time before the consumer stops consuming (it is already happening) and if this happens within the next few years I do not want a conservatism based president in office. I want a republican. Also, I definitely do not want Huckaby. Decisions about abortion and the like are made up to moral values.
