Which Plugins are included?

Recommended Posts

Is there a simple way of listing/knowing which plug-ins are included in each new version when released so I don't end up adding plugins that are already there?

I was thinking perhaps in the plug-in board there could be an indication that this plu-in was included in this version...and these will be included in near future versions... etc

I'm running the latest version (not beta)

I understand some plug-ins become incorporated with the next version.

Thanks folks.

Plugins which are incorporated into the main release are generally added to a block list so that Paint.NET won't load the old versions. You can simply go to "File -> View Plugin Load Errors" to see which plugins are either deprecated or need updates. (Yes, this user experience is far from perfect, bear with me!)

Much obliged!

Drooling over all the plug-ins in the plug-in forum it was hard to tell which one of all those for example, that are sticky are already included.

When I get home I will do as you suggest.

Thanks :)

Most plugins that have later been included as part of the download have been de-sticky'd.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
