hasmom82 Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 OK So i want to make a birthday invitation (my daughter's 6th and 2nd birthdays) with their pics on it, and I've made a few rough drafts, but they all ended up just okay. I want to make it really special, really "awesome" looking LOL. Has anyone ever done anything like this before? They will be printed out as 5x7 photo's with a matte finish. I've searched the posts but came up with nothing. any ideas would be really helpful. Here's one that I have so far, but not loving it. TIA Mandy There isn't much we can do tutorial wise....sometimes you just need to know how to do stuff, and be able to do it. One of those situations where either you do it or we do it. :? LOL So, you want something with there pictures on it....Birthday invatation....I guess a simple background, title at the top, picture center, information about the party underneath? Background, mabye a light pink and white clouds with a low roughness value, picture oval, mabye with a frame or feathered inwards, text something fancy with effects? If i was you i would just keep the image simple but neat and nice looking. i didnt see your orginial idea on the post, but id choice something they like or wat ever you want on the card. for instance maybe a present on the front with a bow and a wrapping paper or there favorite cartoon or something, i know my sisters are into hello kitty. that would be simple to do in Shape 3D and would look crisp and look much harder to do that it was. i hope that helps! leme know if you have any questions.
