I'm a Pepsi person..... most of the time. I discovered a few years ago that Coke and Pepsi taste different in other parts of the world as they use different blending. i.e. A Pepsi in the States tastes nothing like that in England or Australia. So, as Pepsi tastes awful in England, I then prefer Coke when there. :)

I say you're all wrong. Dr Pepper is the way to go. ... I can't be bothered to drink any other swill.

Now to attempt to dodge the arrows, throwing knives, and cream pies that are hurdling towards me.

Both reek havoc on my stomach, but I love pepsi.

Same for me.

I stay away from all carbinated beverages now. Usually I drink Green Tea.

I don't mind caffeine, but most of the time, I tend to stay away from the hideously artificially coloured, flavoured and preserved drinks, where nearly all of the ingredients are synthesized in vats and marked "E". Awful stuff, all of it.

I know I am dating myself in saying that in the early seventies, friends including myself would mix milk with our coke or pepsi....It may sound grossss for you kiddies, but I think we knew then that coke and pepsi was volatile for the stomach lining....soooo we added milk as the buffer. It tasted great then. I for one prefered Pepsi because Pepsi was sweeter which made the milk taste a whole lot yummier.

Food for thought: " the bubbles 'that is the carbonate form of molecules' actually adheres to other molecules in our bodies which help deplete calcium from our bones... therefore, drink sodas with caution. "

Annie :)

I have just remembered that when I once worked for a doctor, it was common knowledge that flat Coke was a great remedy for an upset stomach. A Pepsi-lover myself, I have no doubt that Pepsi will do the trick as well.

That isn't correct. If I were to drink one of those when I had an upset stomach, I would be on the floor in pain.

Sorry, but no.... Both are loaded with sugar and who-knows-what-else-bloody potato, and would be a very dumb thing to put into your body when you're already not feeling too well. The only thing about them that could help ease any stomach pain is, strangely, the carbonation. Much better to go with ginger ale, 7-up, or the like for a stomach remedy. Ginger ale is not only the smarter option, it also tastes better! :D
