Question about version

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Something wrong ?

I downloaded the lastest release (v3.20) from Mirror Host.

Have look on different size for "Paint.NET.3.20.exe" :

BetaNews = 1 811 152 octets

dotPDN = 1 677 896 octets

Download.com = 1 677 896 octets

MajorGeeks = 1 808 296 octets

SkyOrb = 1 800 920 octets

Where is the true ?

Thanks,

Regard

They are all valid versions of Paint.NET. Paint.NET's installer allows for the download mirror to pack in a banner displaying which mirror provided the download. The varying banner files change the total download size, but Paint.NET is the same in all packages.

I'm reasonably certain data storage is not measured in octets....

Of course it is!

Idk about you, but I don't measure my files sizes in octets.

Of course you do, you just don't know it.

Question's been answered, no reason to keep the thread open so people can talk about octets.
