Ratmaster Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 Could there a new tool(s) be made that could have Sharpening, Blurring, Brightening, and Darkening functions? Also, could it be made that effects could be made into a brush, with whatever settings appear in a box, where you could set them to how you want, and then be able to use the brush tool to carry the function out? Like Photoshop's dodge tool. Read the "Popular Feature Requests" thread in the Announcments. It isn't really needed, and it can be done using effects, meaning no need for an entire tool for them. usedHONDA Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 However, there is an alternative to this: Duplicate the picture's layer On the bottom layer, adjust the image to your liking (i.e. lighten and blur) Select the upper layer, and use the eraser* to remove the desired area *For a more-controlled outcome, click advanced on the Color window and lower the Alpha/transparency value to something like 8.
