Frozen_byte
Hey, I downloaded u're program and with all the plug-ins I can only say one word: fantastic. There's only one point, that doesn't match my illusiones: I realized that there is a plug-in to blur the RGB channels, but I haven't found an utility to edit a single color-channel is there a special method or plugin available, to edit every single channel separately? kindly regards F_B
barkbark00
Check out Ed Harvey's plugins. He has quite a few interesting color related plugins. BoltBait however, has a plugin that does what you are looking for. Its called Color Balance. There is no option to work with each channel as if it were a layer, a la photoshop, but these options are still helpful... david.atwell
Also, (and this is a minor, nitpicky thing) -- you're thinking of RGB - Red, Green, Blue, the components of the Additive Color Model. :-) Again, nothing big. david.atwell
You might check out the GIMP. But as far as free raster image editors go, the best ones available are GIMP and PdN. I Like Pi
To isolate each of the R, G, and B channels, duplicate the layer twice (3 total). Use Curves :Curves: in RGB mode on each layer. For each layer, set two of the lines to zero while leaving one intact. For example, to isolate green, set R and B to zero but leave green as it is. Then set the layer blend mode for each layer to additive.
barkbark00
This actually sounds like something that Pyrochild could add to ScriptLab, an option to select which channel(s) all of the selected effects modify...maybe check boxes or something...:?: I'm not trying to make this sound like I think it would be easy for Pyro, but it would be freakin' AWESOME! Edit: I'll cross-post this in the ScriptLab thread so Pyro sees it. Quote Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster

They aint not the real RGB channels (as they're greyscale) but its enough for what i am using them thx^^
