jchurc
Hi I am still trying to find my around but must admit it looks very impressive. I do have one question however, is it possible to clone from a second image that is different to the one being worked on. I had a program once called PC Paintbrush which allowed you to open a second window and you could clone, cut and paste between the two windows.....thanking you in advance....John
david.atwell
You can paste the second image into a new layer and clone from that layer. That would seem to be the best way to do this with PdN. :-) Hope this helps. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Crazy Man Dan
You can't clone from a different image, but you can clone from a different layer. You can import your second image as a layer (Layers > Import from File), set the anchor for the Clone Stamp on the imported layer ([Ctrl]+Left-Click), hide the layer by clicking its visibility checkbox in the Layers dialog, select the destination layer and clone away. Perhaps that will fill your need? Helio
Wow! I didn't know you could do that... *Helio envies CMD's cloning skillz Quote v An excellent open–source strategy game—highly recommended. "I wish I had never been born," she said.
