MilesTEG
Hello, I use paint.net since some months now. It is very helpfull for basic image editing. But when I want to scan something, i can only use the WIA interface and I don't have the full features offered by the TWAIN interface. So why do paint.net support only WIA interface when TWAIN is available for the scaner in other image editing software like photoshop ?? Thanks, Miles
david.atwell
IIRC, the problem is with the .NET framework. Apparently, it doesn't allow TWAIN. Sorry much! (And I may be wrong. It happens. :-)) EDIT: I am still an idiot, and should be treated as such. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... Rick Brewster
It isn't a .NET framework thing. WIA isn't even "natively" supported by .NET. MilesTEG
It isn't a .NET framework thing. WIA isn't even "natively" supported by .NET. Hello thanks for the responses. So, Can I hope the twain drivers will be supported in future version ? Because, it is the canon scangear I want to use to scan, not the simplistic WIA interface... My scanner : Canon Lide70 Thanks ++ Miles
