chew
you could just download a font that has that.
Rick Brewster
I'm not sure Windows' True Type font engine supports multicolor fonts ("black + white + transparent" counts as "multicolor", as opposed to "choose-your-color + transparent"). AFAIK there is no automatic way to accomplish this in Paint.NET right now. (and I wrote the thing, so I would hope that I of all people would know ) I'm sure there are many methods that you could use to get this effect however. I'll bet Dan would know; I'm distracted at the moment by Super Bowl related things. Crazy Man Dan
Well, the only way I see it working is if you can find a font that is just an outline (Agent Orange, Ghostmeat, Nonstop, et cetera). Set the font color to your outline color you want and make the text on a new layer (or just not the background layer). Then make a new layer, move the new layer behind your text layer, use the Magic Wand on the text layer (I'd say 75% Tolerance, just to be safe and overselect), switch to your new layer and fill it with the color you want for your text color. And by the way: Go Steelers! (I'd be saying "Go Panthers!", but I can't because of the Seahawks...) Crazy Man Dan
There's an example using Nonstop. Really, an Aston Martin deserves a more elegant font than that, but... I actually had to drop the tolerance from 75% due to the smaller font and resulting thin outline, but it works just fine. If you can find a font that you like that comes in a "hollow" variety, then you're in business! Rick Brewster
And by the way: Go Steelers!(I'd be saying "Go Panthers!", but I can't because of the Seahawks...) Man what was up with those refs ... Steelers did not make that one touchdown. There were some bad plays, definitely, but there were even worse calls from the refs. (can you tell I was rooting for the Seahawks?) Crazy Man Dan
Man what was up with those refs ... Steelers did not make that one touchdown. There were some bad plays, definitely, but there were even worse calls from the refs. Eh... It all comes down to evidence. The call on the field was a touchdown, and there wasn't positive proof in the review booth to overturn it. The ball was hidden by his arm, so it could have or could have not crossed the goal line. I am rather confused, though, as to why the line official first ran in with one arm raised as if calling a spot on the inch-line, then changed it to a touchdown call halfway through his run... Crazy Man Dan
Hey! I thought of something else. There's another way to put a border around your font: The instructions are here: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewt ... =3621#3621 Quote I am not a mechanism, I am part of the resistance; I am an organism, an animal, a creature, I am a beast. ~ Becoming the Archetype
