If so how would you go about doing so ..is there a tutorial on here somewhere that shows how or is there a book I could purchase to teach me more about Paint.net ? I am not to computer literate so some of this is way over my head  if anyone could help it would be much appreciated ..Thanks for your time ... Crazy Man Dan
The tutorial to which Rubrica linked will work if your starting image has color and you wish to isolate areas of color. If you're starting with a black and white image, there's a tutorial here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2309 Also, you may wish to revise your thread title to be a little more descriptive.
