I Like Pi Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 It would be a lot easier to get to effects if there was a search box like Vista's start menu. Instead of navigating submenus, one could type the first few characters of the effect name and hit enter. Demo mockup: mockup.zip Quote
david.atwell Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 That sounds awesome. I wonder if that would be possible in association with the new plugin arrangement system planned for v4.0? There is a similar function in the Adobe Premiere Pro package. It utilizes a delimiter search that allows you to find your plugin within the fifty or so that are included with the program, and it's very helpful. Especially when it's called "Cross Dissolve," but you can't remember whether it's in "Video Effects" or "Video Transitions." :-) Anyway, I certainly second this suggestion. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
