mrickman
Hello: I noticed that after installing Beta 2, that the shortcut image in Windows Vista x86 Ultimate Edition is not showing up in the start menu. The icon itself works, the shortcut simply shows the "broken link" icon. If I palce an icon on the desktop, it appears normally. Thanks, Mike Rickman mike@mrickman.net
pyrochild
reboot your computer... if that doesn't work, right click it, choose Properties, and click the Change Icon button. This issue has nothing whatsoever to do with Paint.NET. It's a Windows-ism. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! Rick Brewster
I've seen this once or twice, can't remember if it was Paint.NET though. But yeah the solution is to probably just restart, and if the problem persists and it's really bugging you, then just reinstall. There's always going to be some weird corner case where this happens because, I dunno, maybe the link file was already in use by the indexer service or something.
