sfisher
Hi all, I have gone through the forum and FAQs for this and have not been able to find an answer. Hope you can help me. I have installed paint.net before and I find it an excellent application. I remember I used to be able to download a single [large] install file that included both the .NET framework and the paint.net application. I have checked all mirrors and I have not been able to find such an install file. All I found is paint.net only, which requires the previous install of the MS-downloaded file. I would prefer to have a single install file if possible (as opposed to the two-step process). Is that available anywhere? Thanks!
Mr Frojo
This was canceled (im pretty sure) due to the fact that fewer and fewer users dont have the .net frameworks. It comes with most new computers and vista as well. Quote I'm still alive!
pyrochild
That, and Rick decided that having a however-many-MB-installer for a 1.5MB program was kinda dumb. Just get it from microsoft.com or windows update. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! Rick Brewster
The 'full' installer would be 200 MB nowadays. That would annihilate my bandwidth quota within 2 days, as most people think "Uhh I have no idea. I'll download the big one."
