Crazy Man Dan Posted December 2, 2007 Share Posted December 2, 2007 To shrink an image pixel dimensions (120px x 160px is the limit for avatars), use Image -> Resize scales the image down (making the entire image smaller), and Image -> Canvas Size shrinks the canvas, decreasing the size of the image without making the subject of the image smaller. Note that Canvas Size will result in cropping, or parts of your image being cut off. You can also crop the image manually by using the Rectangle Select tool to create a selection 120 x 160, then using Image -> Crop To Selection to crop out that specific portion.
