funperro
Earlier today I scanned in a photo but it turns out the scanner is faulty and always adds these ugly vertical lines on the right side of the pic. Just downloaded paint.net for the first time and am trying to use it to touch up the photo. Is there a tool in paint.net I can use to remove these lines (somehow blurring them into the photo possibly??) Also, there are white specks of dust in the pic; is there a way I can remove them? I've attached the image below; can anyone help? Thanks!
BoltBait
Can you move the picture around on the scanner bed to avoid the lines? Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
funperro
Thanks for the quick response. No.. I can't rescan it on another location on the scanner bed. It wasn't my scanner; and I can't get access to this scanner again for about a week Any ideas on how I can touch it up in paint.net? Thanks! MadJik
I've tryied median blur at default values. It gives a correct result IMO... Quote My DeviantArt | My Pictorium | My Plugins | Donate via Paypal

Tanel
Is there a tool in paint.net I can use to remove these lines (somehow blurring them into the photo possibly??) Also, there are white specks of dust in the pic; is there a way I can remove them? Forget the blur, it will destroy your image. For best results take some time and use Clone Stamp to repair the defects manually.
MadJik
Again, as the image is large enough to support it: I've tryied median blur at default values. It gives a correct result IMO...
