Just finished watching the final episode of Torchwood and:

Hidden Content:
I found it rather dissapointing, the whole show was an anti-climax with Jack just flying away into space at the end. Russell T Davies has let himself down on this one. Could have been so much better.

I wonder how long it'll take until we can take conversations out of spoiler boxes. Perhaps after the US airing on the 24th? Because there's a length conversation I'd like to get into but don't want to have a whole discussion in Spoiler boxes...anyway..

I sorta disagree that it's anticlimactic. That ending is only a shallow evaluation of the CoE season. Yes I agree that it's a bummer that Jack just whizzed away (specifically after the Doctor told him "No Teleport!". Kinda makes him sorta like the guy he was when we first met him in 2005, as a conman running always away...almost like a certain other main character). But if you take the depth of the plot, it was actually quite good. I'll discuss more details later.

Yeah, I know, I want to have a long conversation about it too, but spoiler boxes are not as easy as just typing it up.

Yeah, he is the same as the way we first met him. The plot was good though, but no more Torchwood?

The BBC just delivered me something nice and.. david, I must apologize for what I said about David. Oh my God, he's BRILLIANT! (Just like the human race :P ) I've just watched the whole series 2 in two?no, three days, and.. He is unbelievably Doctorish! Just had to pop in and say that.. And now, off to watch the series 3 :P haven't got anything of series 4 yet.. sadly

EDIT2: Omg, 42 posts? O.o looking at the episode guide, I find an episode named "42" in series 3.. Creepy, especially after the power went out while watching The Satan Pit..

It wasn't so creepy.. I watched in on my laptop with all lights out of the room.. Only noticed it when the battery started complaining ;)

My favourite episode? Ouch.. I should say they're all beyond fantastical brilliance, but.. The Girl in the Fireplace is so eccentric, It's the first I would/will watch again

I hereby foolhardly defy the common policy of anti-doubleposting but.. I have a question concerning the dramatic ending of series 2, in spoilers in case someone wants to keep the tension up 'till the end :P

Hidden Content:
Will we ever see Rose again? Don't mention when, where nor why, but will she ever be seen again in the actual DW during some series in the future (I'm presently going half-way into series 3)?

And it is awesome.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Isn't it weird to think we've gone from this:

to this:

I like both, from different perspectives, but overall, I'd have to go with the the new one. It just conveys so well the idea of the lonely, merciful god. The original (not original original, but new original, if you know what I mean) one just stayed on the theme of sadness, whereas the new one has that touch of joy The Doctor brings wherever he goes.

Awesome? If it came from anyone else.. Well, almost anyone else, ... Well, almost anyone else and a lizard, I wouldn't pay much attention to it.. But to have it italic, and not to use either of the obvious words fantastic or brilliant? It must have a meaning :P which must mean that.... But I've just got used to Tennant ; )

I HAVE TO GET SERIES 4

Just got through series 3 (the new sig kinda gave it off, eh? :P) The Face of Boe :D :D :D I think you'll believe how hard I laughed :D :D :D And the rhythm of the drumming's stuck in my head! I just have to tap anything I get my hands on

I return after my bizarre period of inactivity...

Anyway, meet the new Doctor Who logo, it's like the old ones but I still prefer the firey oval-ish logo of the Eccleston and Tennant era:

By the way, has anyone seen the first two epidoes of the Sarah Jane Adventures - it was good seeing the Judoon back on Earth with their two letter word's being spoken again.

Bo so do fo mo ho bo jo fo!

I haven't read a lot of the last few pages (avoiding spoilers), but I just added a new poll!

No, Wilpatjotopecollvespaul Hartrougtwekavikecoygann was never an actual actor. See if you can figure it out. :-)

(William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Collin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann)

The color was intentional...anything else is Opera. :-)
