Paint.NET v3.20 Beta 1 is now available

Recommended Posts

A little problem with the "Rectangle Select tool", "Fixed Size", "Pixel".

Width and Height differ one Pixel from used dimensions (200x300 -> 201x301)

Thanks. I've filed a bug.

I thought I was the one that messed it up

[Edit] What does "to file a bug" mean?

[Edit] What does "to file a bug" mean?

Very simply, a bug (problem) has been found with [insert subject] and it has been queued for fixing.

Rick uses, if I remember correctly, Bugzilla to log bugs to be rectified.

In motion blur, that isn't a bug. That's just the way things have to work.

Oh. I see. Well, have a :mtdew:. I would give you a :bmw:, but I'm simply not that rich.

As with this new version some(most) of my plugins are blocked, I had to update them...

So this is the zip of modified plugins that work with this version:

Gradient Blur, LightRay, Oblique, Seamless texture maker, Stars, XYCoords.

They could have significant changes since the previsious version.

ex: Light Rays (new gradient mode as ray).

I plan to update each plugin topics when final release will be published.

I've also updated other plugins to remove the GUID reference they could have...

16 plugins in total for this zip.[attachment=0]MadJik.zip[/attachment]

I just tried it, Thanks for the updates and I like those new icons :)

@Madjik: nice work on your plugins, i too like the icons

@everyone else:

ey what's going to be of EVIL Greystoration wrapper? PdN won't load it anymore! well NOW some one will have to write a full .dll if the plugin is wanted to stay.

No problem! You should take the zip from the public beta release

(Spiro Shapes in Distort? this tells me you're using an older zip)

Haha, konami codes...

Actually, I wasn't spazzing out and randomly clicking between the two options just to see what would happen. There was a method behind the madness. Rationale: I wanted to increase the width of my image by 2.5x. So I went into the % and typed 250%, made note of the width, went back to the absolute size, and typed the pixel value I wanted, and OHmaiGAWSH! Both values changed. Sure, I could use calc.exe, but this was oh so convenient, if it weren't for the bug :(

Yeah, this has been around for a long time.

You probably figured this out already, but there is a workaround. After switching back "Absolute Size" quickly check and uncheck "Maintain Aspect Ratio" before entering the value.

Bug: If you initialize an Int32Property with one of the constructors that doesn't have minValue and maxValue, then set the property to be displayed as an IncrementButton, the button will only work once, after which pressing it does not call OnSetRenderInfo().

Or is that on purpose?

Holding [Ctrl] has nothing to do with it. GDI+ simply can't make heads or tails of the image. It probably has a small section that's corrupt -- in fact, regular Paint can't open this image either. Photoshop is able to, however.

Its right Paint can't open. Irfanview open. Windows Photo Gallery (defaut viewer Windows Vista) opens too.
