I love Mozilla Firefox, its very customizable. However, Internet Explorer, there are no skins or add-ons for it. Not to mention, Firefox is a lot more safe in my opinion.

Agreed! FireFox is like 10 times better than IE.

I think IE users should give FireFox a test run. I bet you over 90% would convert.

Proselytizer*! Join Opera instead! You know you'll love it! Opera is teh awesomeness!

*Somewhat a moot point, considering I'm trying to get these people to join Opera :?

Well, to start off, I never have really tried Opera, but I have seen it. (Who hasn't?) But I have used the Nintendo Wii version of Opera on my Nintendo Wii, personally, I like it better on the Nintendo Wii than how it looks on computers.

I'm going to give my vote to FF. Opera is still really good, but Firefox is the only thing my parents will take seriously.

They're stuck in their IE ways. >_> Luckily, I finally got them around to liking Firefox. :D

It was funny, a few months back. When my mom pressed the built in "Home Page" button on the keyboard and Opera popped up she was totally freaking out. She thought we'd been infected with the Opera virus and all our email had been hacked and our computer was now doomed for the junk heap. It was actually sorta funny.

Well Firefox 3 beta 1 is out and if you don't want to risk installing it you can get a self contained portable version from http://portableapps.com and as far as I can make out most important extensions (AdBlock+, Web Developer Toolbar etc) work fine with it.

And don't forget that if you use IE7 then get IE7 Pro from http://ie7pro.com which adds a lot of good stuff such as mouse gestures, ad blocking and much more.

Opera's getting to gimmicky these days with it's bit torrent support.

Ha, If you have a Mac, that doesn't mean that your rich. This laptop (PC) that I'm using at the moment has a list price of $2000.

But I still would use Firefox on any computer, if one didn't have it on it, I would download and install it. :P

Or you could use FireFox portable, it runs very nicely from a memory stick & you can transfer all your bookmarks & extensions across from normal firefox so you've got the same web browser wherever you go :)

Does anyone here own a Mac or are we all just poor? Just kidding.

I'm sticking with PCs. :P

If we had a Mac, we wouldn't be posting in a Windows only program forum would be. And if we were rich, we'd be posting in a Photoshop forum somewhere.

Actually, I have a Mac, and Photoshop...

I used to have a MacBook Pro. To stay on topic, I had installed Firefox on it and downloaded the IE6 skin just for kicks. Hardly used Safari, though it was pretty fast (nevertheless, Safari has crashed a few times in the past).

BTW, got rid of the Mac after having a few too many problems and a family member who actually needed a Mac.
