I upgraded to IE 7. Worst. Browser. Ever.

Nahh, IE6 gets that honor. IE7 at least took a step in the right direction, albeit an extremely miniscule step.

By the way, your sig is farrrr too tall. I suggest you fix it before a mod does; if BoltBait gets to it before you do, well, there's no telling what'll be there when next you see... ;)

Now downloading the latest Songbird nightly build (0.5 pre-release 20080125, Windows i683). I'll see how it does on Acid3...

EDIT: The following a snippet of the text that appeared when I loaded Songbird.

==================================== WARNING ====================================
                                HERE BE DRAGONS
=================================================================================
Congratulations, you've downloaded a nightly build... this means you're running
what we're running: cutting edge, bleeding new bits that have no guarantee
*whatsoever*. Could it trash your library? Possibly. Could it crash in
wonderful newfound ways? Definitely. Could it make your computer do the
macarena? Not likely, but if it does - we'd love to see a bug filed.

Gave me a laugh :)

Why? Part of a browser is its logo. Discussion of a browser's logo is perfectly appropriate here.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I actually don't care care which of IE's logo I used. A logo is a logo.

I wander if there will ever be an EU antitrust ruling for IE.

Maybe like this: Windows may include IE but it must be a version that will stop working after 60 days and every time it starts up remind them to install another browser. And they are not allowed to just have a seperate version of Windows with no web-browser.
