Andrew D
At the NM forums I go to, for some reason people have decided for around about Christmas time, to have a christmas theme going in their avatars (the people at NM haven't heard of picture sigs, unfortunately), and so I thought, why not have one here? I don't know, mabye for christmas day (of course you'll be looking at the forum then, I mean, imagine all the art gifts ) everyone could make a christmas avatar/sig combo to celebrate christmas? Just a thought anyways. Anyone think it's a good idea?

Helio
Nooooooo.... It's a good idea, but let's think about it at least after Thanksgiving! I find it very soporific when stores ship in the Christmas products before Thanksgiving has arrived... or sometimes even Halloween... adhanberry
I think this is a great idea. I already have a Thanksgiving sig going on. I'm not really into avatars that much. Maybe for Christmas I'll make an exception; I'll make an avatar to go along with my Christmas sig. I don't mind making a sig for every holiday. Of course...I live in the U.S.A. and people from other countries might not understand. Quote Hi. This is my signature.

david.atwell
Thanksgiving and Christmas team up to form what we in the United States tend to refer to as "The Holiday Season." Thanksgiving is a time of gathering together with family to give thanks, to reconnect, and to eat a lot. It's kind of like Christmas, but less commercialized. And gifts aren't traditionally given. I think it's a phenomenal idea! I'm going to have one ready and rarin' to go...soon. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... janettsue
You explained that very well david.atwell. I might add that to my husband it means a four day weekend, family, food and football. To us women it can sometimes just mean a whole lot of work. Cooking a big dinner for a big crowd is a big job. Having 6 children I made a rule a long time ago, I don't cook on Christmas, it works for me, someone always steps up or it is everyman for himself. Strange to think there are people who don't know about Thanksgiving . Makes me realize that there is a great deal about the world that I don't know. I think the sig is a good idea.
