Can execute multle web windows in 1 window... can recover last web page, theme is baby blue and yes, you can watch television on it. Sorry I didnt get you some screen shots of that, it would have been neat. Well good luck everyone. -S Atlantis
Crazy Man Dan
Uh... Midnight what time zone? I really really tried to get one done earlier, but last night was all the time I had. I put together something I really like, but it's up to Helio if it's in on time or not. Helio-dawg, PM me and let me know. I'll take it down if requested. Without further ado, I present you Syntrofuge: Full 1280 x 800 res version (522KB) It uses the Gecko rendering engine, because Gecko is open-standard and awesome, and it works well (unlike some other engines out there). The navigation bars across the top, from left to right, are the URL bar, the Bookmark / RSS drop-out button (the asterisk overlain atop the RSS feed icon means unread feeds exist), and the Open-Search bar (compatible with Open-Search like Firefox and IE7). The blue bar is the tab bar. It functions much like any other tab bar. The down arrow button on the left opens the sidebar. The left side of the status bar is currently configured for a myriad of service status buttons. The buttons light up when enabled - for instance, currently, Cookies are disabled. The right side contains buttons to extension programs installed. AdBlocker is a rip-off of AdBlock+, SynDOM is a rip-off of Firebug, and SynC is a rip-off of FoxyTunes. Enabling SynC adds an extra layer to the status bar with controls for your MP3 player of choice. SynDOM looks, works, and opens identically to Firebug, because Firebug is awesome and I would never use a browser that didn't have a comparable service. The theme is decidedly Vista-esque, because I love the glass look, but the skin would be custom and built-in (like Safari Win and iTunes) so it would still look Vista-y on XP and Windows 2000. Pre-Windows 2000 support is not available. The skin is practically borderless in the page area, allowing the content to extend the full width of the window. The scroll bar is overlain atop the page content, but is not considered page-space. This means that, though the repeating body background will be seen behind the scroll bar, centering and such is calculated after subtracting the 16 pixel bar from the window width. Also, if any content were to extend into or beyond the bar, a horizontal scroll bar would be shown. The scroll bar intercepts all clicks in its area, so in case a clickable link were somehow to be rendered completely obscured by the the scroll bar, it does not include itself in the page width. The RSS feed icon is the standard, and was downloaded from FeedIcons.com. The Google Open-Search icon was taken from a screen-capture of the Open-Search service in Firefox. The Favicon in the URL bar was taken from my site. The site displayed in the browser window is an unedited screen-capture of this page of my website running the Heliopad skin (the graphics for which were all made in PDN). The desktop background upon which the browser is set is one of my own creation, made some time ago in The GIMP (the blurring effect was accomplished post in PDN). The remainder of the graphics, icons, and content were created using PDN.
