Rubrica
There should be a button on your keyboard saying "Print Screen SysRq", press that, the paste the image into a new document on PDN.

david.atwell
I hate to interrupt this scintillating repartee, but I think we should clarify: After you've hit the Print Screen key, just paste it onto Paint.NET or whatever graphic program you use to get the image off the clipboard. Quote  The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
lmgt1985
I use Window Clippings http://www.windowclippings.com/ There's also Winsnap. http://www.ntwind.com/software/winsnap.html Both great.

indie88
There's also absolutely no problem pasting to MS Paint if it's just for uploading straight to the net, It's one of few things it can actually handle... Event --> Upload usually take less than 30 seconds for me. At least then If you're in a game, you don't have to wait for PDN to wake up and load it's sorry < no swearing > Quote My dA - 2 New Images (Oil Painting of face & Exploding Planet Starscape - 18/11/07) & 1 new Haiku ("Love: I Remember" - 21/11/07)

Rick Brewster
I use Window Clippingshttp://www.windowclippings.com/ Second on that. It's a major time saver for taking screenshots in Vista and having the glass and drop shadow captured correctly. Overkill
Well, you could've made a new topic instead of bumping a year old thread. Quote Yes, I'm a fan. ;] | My Gallery|
007 Nab
As long as it's bumped, I like to use: Fraps (not free) Imageshack Quickshot: Amazing software - even uploads to imageshack automatically. harold
What's wrong with PrintScreen or Alt+PrintScreen (if you only want the current window)? And why was the thread bumped to announce Yet Another Printscreen App? Quote I would write plugins, if I knew what kind of plugins were needed.. 007 Nab
You have to paste print screen somewhere... So if you're playing a game/watching a movie/deep into PDN, you don't want to have to open up Paint or PDn to paste. Quote "pyrochild, you're my favorite person ever. I know about Source games, not sure about others, but in those games you can take screenshots which are automatically saved by pressing "F5"
