fallback
It's been awhile but i decided to open up this problem, it seems that since i placed some new fonts, when ever i click the text icon and try to change the font style it responds really slow, i mean maybe it takes a minute or two before you can change the font style. Guys, can you check on this and try to fix it in the latter versions of PDN?
david.atwell
It's not a PdN problem. If they're "decayed" fonts, like the one in your sig, they're very elaborate, with lots of paths - which makes them very, very big. The .NET framework makes PdN load the fonts as the program opens, so the elaborate fonts, which need a lot of memory and processor time, it'll take a while. Bob
I agree Paint.NET could be improved in loading fonts. If it's not possible, I'll be ok to see the preview being disabled. (yeah, French love the passive form). Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
david.atwell
I think this is something in the rendering architecture Rick uses...
