I just had to post this someday, it cracks me up.

Here is the very first screenshot of Paint.NET ever taken. It's from February 4th, 2004 -- less than 2 weeks after development had begun:


You can recognize a few things that survived to this day, and ... well, I guess there wasn't really much there to not-survive :)

I've been waiting for this to be reposted so I could comment on it! :-)

I think it's really a testament to how awesome and well-coded the PdN color wheel is that it's survived since the very first version, and it's just as useful as always.

I don't know what the person who drew the Pencil button was smoking, though...those are some funky lines...
