xCensored
I was just wondering if anyone knows how to glow an image using any color? For example, since Yoshi is a green dinosaur, and you wanted to glow him with green, how would you do that?
Myrddin
- New layer; - Draw a small elliptical shape in any colour (EDIT: smaller than your target object); - Gaussian Blur to whatever takes your fancy (dependant on size of shape)*; - Lower layer opacity if need be. * usually a rather high blurring is needed so expand the shape outwards enough to emulate a glow rather than obvious blurred shape. That's how I've always done it. Quote How to Save Your Images under Different File Types My dA Gallery
xCensored
How small do I make the elliptical shape? Isn't that only when the image is round? I'm lost because the elliptical shape is round?

xCensored
If I was to glow this image w/o the logo, how would I do it with the steps Myrddin told me? I think I misunderstood what he said. http://planetrenders.net/renders/displayimage.php?pos=-2145

Myrddin
Bob's does seem the more logical form of glow. The image I thought of from your request was something along the lines of... xCensored
@Bob - OMG. Just like that! How did you do that? Did you do use green line/curve tool and just go around the image and then blurred it? Step by step tutorial would be nice :]
