So how long have you been using Paint.net. I'd like to see how much people have been using it for a while.

I've been using it since late summer last year.

Paint.NET v2.7x

v2.72 Released: August 31st, 2006

This seems a prominent date in my life, so I guess from then. Over one year, but not quite one-and-a-half just yet.

As for me also. Prominent indeed. :)

v An excellent open–source strategy game—highly recommended.

I first got PdN sometime last year. I can't remember exactly when. It's probably inbetween 1 and 1 1/2 years now. (I want to say June-August 2006) I remember back when I was using MS Paint for all my old stuff. The Rotate/Zoom feature was what I was most attracted to at first. Most of my very first PdN pictures were super simple. And generally involved changing the angle of text. Then I found the Firey Text tut. :P

Since that year+ started, I've definitely gotten better. I'm not quite as good as I'd like, but I can do what I need and I'm happy with it. I love this program. It's just... amazing. That's all there is to say. :D

I find my forum join date to be more prominent than when I downloaded it. Reason being: When I got Paint.NET, I was a download junkie, getting anything that was free and highly rated (yes, including GIMP). It was only after I joined the forum that I started to play with it and become the enthusiast that I am today.

then why did you write "about" instead of "over" :D?

I guess I wasn't thinking. :P
