Rick Brewster Posted January 19, 2006 Share Posted January 19, 2006 Straight from the front page of our website, It started development at Washington State University as an undergraduate senior design project mentored by Microsoft, and is currently being maintained by some of the alumni that originally worked on it. Yes, it started as a WSU senior design project. Yes, I work for Microsoft, as do Tom and Dennis. There are no students working on it at this time (it has not been worked on in that way since December 2004). Paint.NET isn't an official Microsoft project; we work on it in our spare time. It's also why we have that disclaimer as the signature for our posts.
