phildaley
Is it possible to create scripts as you can in Paint Shop Pro. I often want to add a coloured border to photos, and I created a script in PSP to do this. Is this possible in Paint.NET? I have not yet got a copy of Paint.NET and I am looking for a free or cheap editor that will allow me to do as described above. I am prepared to pay a reasonable price. My free trial of PSP has expired yet I refuse to buy a version that tells me on the upgrade page I can pay 80 USD or 105 GBP yet when I last looked, the exchange rate was 2 USD = 1 GBP
Crazy Man Dan
Automated actions such as scripts are not currently possible in Paint.NET. This idea has been tossed around in the past as a future possibility, but there are no set plans as to when, or even if, a feature such as this will be implemented. Sorry. I am not a mechanism, I am part of the resistance; I am an organism, an animal, a creature, I am a beast. ~ Becoming the Archetype

Is this possible in Paint.NET? 1. No, no at the moment, But we do have a plugin "script lab" 2. Adding colored border to photo is easy in PDN, use many border/frame plugins can do this easily! 3. Why down you get Paint.NET and try it out....it's free, you know... Bob
It's in the roadmap for v4.0. Maybe. No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
