Alph Tech / STUART 0
How easy is it to port .net shiz to ASP.net?
Rick Brewster 1,766
I don't think Paint.NET could really be "ported" to being a web app. It assumes and takes advantage of the fact that it's running on the client with full permissions. I don't think it would really make sense as a web app in the first place. You'd be better off starting a new project designed from the ground up that takes the web aspect in to account. Alph Tech / STUART 0
Yeah, it really isn't designed as a web app, but isn't ASP.NET designed (and one of the guiding principles of .NET 2.0) to have really easy client-web conversion?
Rick Brewster 1,766
I don't believe that's the point of ASP.NET at all. Web apps and client apps are usually very different in nature.
