Rick Brewster
Some important bug fixes, and the Curves adjustment is actually useful now (not to be confused with the Line/Curve tool). Get it in the usual places: (1) the download page ( http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/paint.net/download.html ), or (2) the built-in updater (File -> Updates -> Check Now, and make sure that "Also check for Beta releases" is turned on). Here's the list of changes since Beta 1: Curves adjustment is now much, much betterAD/GPO deployment now possible by using the /createMsi parameter with the installerFixed another layout issue with the Layers windowFixed several "SetupNgen" crash errors during setupFixed a performance issue with the Pencil toolFixed a crash when the user cancelled out of the Scanning wizardFixed crash related to images with 0 dpiLots of other misc. bug and crash fixes This is a beta release and will expire on February 15th, 2006, although an update will be available before then. The final release will not expire. Neil
Curves adjustment IS much better. More curve to it, the last on was just lines. I would also like to suggest a feature: Drag a point on the curves box to delete, more like Photoshop.
Alph Tech / STUART
Perhaps the ability to add points to a line with curves (the tool, not the color adjustment thing)?
Neil
That would be nice also.
