You can put text on a new layer and when you mess up delete that layer and then make another layer and retype your text.

jj974 it be best to stop asking questions in this part of the forums.

You can ask your questions in General Discussion & Questions forum. But before you do that go read the rules as you have already broken 2 rules here.

A mod will most likey delete, move, or lock this topic because of that. More reason to make sure you read the rules so you don't waste your time making a post that will be deleted or locked.

Paint.net isn't all that great for adding text to an image, your better off using GIMP for that.

They're planning to add in something like that, but theres no info as to when that will be done.

Rick says it will require the new architecture coming with version 4.0, which is a little over a year or so away.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Type the wrong text in?

One you deleselct it or click elsewhere, its stuck.

So just press CTRL+Z to undo it

If you still have the text active, the arrow keys will let you go back and delete the wrong

character, and/or add a capital letter

Another trick - use the dropper to sample the font colour, then use paitnbrush set at (eg) 6 pixels to broad swipe it over

or pencil at 2 pixels to careful over write it.

I use this trick to change the dialogue text boxes in screenshots of software, cos writing manuals is wot I does, like.
