Books, novels, poetry, prose - go nuts with words! Remember that, since this round has a lot to do with words and the creative use thereof, never underestimate the importance of the proper font for the message or emotion your chosen piece of literature conveys. You can find the perfect font for almost any situation at DaFont.com. A note on behalf of Rubrica: Never forget the power of words. Make sure your entry portrays that message, for I cannot emphasize enough how important they are. Remember that we would be able to do nothing without them. The deadline for this competition is Midnight (Pacific) on Saturday, October 27th. Check the SOTW Rules! 1. Max sig dimensions follow the board's max sig dimensions, 500x150. 2. No crude / offensive language, pics, et cetera. 3. Sig must follow the set theme. 4. Only one entry per person and no modifications are allowed after submitting your entry. 5. You must post the URLs to any and all stock images used in your sig. 6. You are allowed one post in this topic. That post should include your sig, links to your source images, and possibly a couple bucks for me. Placeholders (empty-posting now, editing in a link to your sig later) are not permitted. ***This thread is for posting your entries only! If you wish to talk about one of the entries you can do so here.*** If your entry breaks any of the rules it will be disqualified. Good luck all! Though some of the text was copied from there, most of it was done by me, and no stock images were used.

cjmcguinness
It's been nearly a week since the competition closed, are we going to open the voting soon? If CMD is too busy would one of the other mod's like to step in and temporarily take over the duties?

Rubrica
Way too big, and you can't read the text in the bottom right corner. Also, the quote (when readable) is not related to literature at all.
Andrew D
Way too big, and you can't read the text in the bottom right corner. Also, the quote (when readable) is not related to literature at all. And it's in the wrong place AND the competition is over. Which reminds me CMD, it isn't that hard to say we're starting voting now?
Crazy Man Dan
Which reminds me CMD, it isn't that hard to say we're starting voting now? We're starting voting now! Head over to the first post for a review of the entries. The way I do it, I place each sig in the first post along with a link to the user's name who designed it. When people post their sigs here, they do so along with text, stock images, and their actual forum sigs, resulting in a cluttered competition board. Placing them all in the first post lets the voters focus on just the entries and the artist who made said entry. Because of this, though, it takes a while to actually put everything together, and I've just been busy recently. I apologize for the delay. That being said, GET TO VOTING! indie88
I know this is OT, but I'd like "Love" or something similar to be the next theme. The thing is, I woke up at 2.30am this morning, with a perfect, fully formed Haiku on my lips that i'd just made up. Poetry is twice as beautiful Pure, so I haven't changed it.
